Playground surfaces take a daily pounding from hundreds of children, and sports courts take the added wear of studded boots and regular ball games. We resurface tarmac playgrounds, multi use games areas, tennis courts and netball courts, repairing worn, cracked or uneven areas or laying a new surface where the existing one has had its day.

Resurfacing work disrupts normal use of a playground or court while it is underway, so timing matters. We talk through dates with you so the work fits around your school year as closely as we can manage.

What goes into the job, and what to expect from us.
A playground or court needs the right falls built into the surface so rainwater drains away rather than pooling, which can be a slip hazard as well as a maintenance problem over time.
Where an existing surface has cracked, lifted or developed trip hazards, we repair or resurface the affected area so it is level and safe again, rather than always needing to redo the whole playground or court.
Once the surface is down, we can add playground markings and games court lines, from number grids and hopscotch to markings for netball, tennis and multi use games areas. Our road marking service covers the same line marking work in more detail, for playgrounds, courts and car parks alike.

It depends on the size of the area and whether we are repairing sections or resurfacing the whole playground or court. A smaller repair is quicker than a full resurface. We will give you a timescale once we have seen the site.
Yes, where only parts of a playground or court have cracked, lifted or become uneven, we can repair those sections rather than resurfacing the whole area, which is often quicker and less disruptive to the school or club.
Yes, once the surface is laid or repaired we can add playground markings and games court lines for netball, tennis and multi use games areas, as part of the same job or separately.
